Toi Ohomai University

Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is a New Zealand tertiary education institute with campuses in Rotorua, Tauranga, and other towns in the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato regions.
It was formed in May 2016 after the amalgamation of Bay of Plenty Polytechnic and Waiariki Institute of Technology. Toi Ohomai is the third largest of the 16 ITPs (Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics) in New Zealand. The University offers more than 100 courses in different fields, and all courses are provided in many different languages. According to the 2019 I-Graduate Survey, Toi Ohomai ranked sixth overall from 89 participating international institutes, and secured first position in student orientation, welcoming, pre-arrival information, counselling services and social activities.
